“Help us to know you” is the name given to Aashyana’s new survey going out to residents between 19 November and 19 December.

The aim of the survey is to be sure that we know enough about you to meet your needs. We may have taken this information from you when you started your tenancy, but it could be out of date by now.

Having accurate information will help us to plan the best way of using our resources in your interest; for example if we know that you have a disability that restricts your mobility, we can advise our repairs teams and contractors to wait that little bit longer before popping a missed appointment card through your door. Similarly, if you prefer us to contact you by phone or text message we can let our housing staff know in advance.

Be assured that all information you provide us with will be treated in the strictest confidence, but if there are any questions that you would prefer not to answer, please skip them and complete the rest of the form. In compliance with the Data Protection Act (1998), we will treat the information we receive confidentially and use it only in accordance with our registration under the Act. The information will solely be used to help us provide appropriate services to you and to ensure we are not discriminating against anybody.

An external company, Survey Solutions Ltd, is running this exercise on behalf of Aashyana, and you will shortly receive a questionnaire in the post with a covering letter and a pre-paid reply envelope. If you return the questionnaire, or complete it online using the link below your name will go into a prize draw and you could win £150!
