Mike Herring
ChairmanAn independment member Mike brings almost 40 years of house building experience to William Sutton Homes. He was the co-founder of the Housing Foundation and founder member of the Droitwich spa Housing Association.
Pam Bardouille
Pam is a trained careers advisor, working in the training and education field for over twenty years. She has lived on the St Quintin Park estate since 1992 and was formerly Chair of the residents’ association. Pam's work in the community was recently recognised when she received the Kensington and Chelsea Mayor’s Award.
Winifred Dillon
Winifred lived on the William Sutton Preston estate for over thirty years. Co-opted onto the Board some seven years ago, she works for Preston City Council.
Nick Jones
Nick is currently Deputy Head of Strategy at the Healthcare Commission, the national body charged with regulating the NHS and independent health care sectors. Prior to this Nick worked in the housing sector and also spent five years as a Board member of another housing association.
Ken Shipman
CBS ChairKen Shipman, who has worked in the housing sector for over 30 years, was previously chair of Wherry Housing Association, the second stock transfer organisation in the country. Ken runs his own estate agents, based in Norwich, and is Chair of Team Anglia. Ken was also previously a board member of Circle Anglia and the Chair of the National Association of Estate Agents in Norfolk. As well as being a member of the William Sutton board, Ken is also the Chair of CBS (Community Building Services), one of William Sutton’s subsidiaries.
Paul Smith
Paul Smith has an accountancy background and is a former Finance Director of Ford where he managed a budget of £2 billion. He is also a Director of West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust.
Christine Wood
Christine Wood, has lived in Borehamwood for over 40 years and was formerly on the Ridgehill Board. She is a trained mediator, a home start volunteer and a respite foster carer.
