The Resident Involvement Team are focused on engaging residents in their communities as well as our services. By getting involved, residents are able to have their say and give their opinions on a multitude of different things that involve them as residents. As an organisation William Sutton believe that resident involvement is at the core of all aspects of the work we do.

2. COMMUNITY INVESTMENT TEAM

At William Sutton, the Community Investment Team’s main role is to help communities to develop and thrive. They do this through bringing in new funding and resources for communities and estates. The funding gained is then used to develop community initiatives such as:

• Neighbourhood/ estate renewal.
• Employment, training and lifelong learning opportunities.
• Financial inclusion and awareness.
• The involvement of young people and children.
• Reducing crime.

3. AREA HOUSING TEAM

The Area Housing Team advise residents of the menu of options available for involvement. They will provide a sign up leaflet so you are able to sign up to get involved. As well as this, they also give advice about local resident associations and community events and carry out local walkabouts with residents to discuss local issues.

Your Area Housing Team will be your first point of call for any resident involvement at a local level.
