Do not

1. post any comments or use expressions of a discriminatory nature which may be racist, sexist or homophobic;
2. swear or use abusive language
3. discuss anything other than resident involvement
4. discuss or name William Sutton Homes or Affinity Sutton Group member of staff
5. use the area to threaten, bully, harass or stalk others participating in the discussion or William Sutton Homes’ staff
6. incite arguments
7. act in a way that disrupts the dialogue of the discussion area. This includes sending repeat messages (known as spamming or flooding)
8. type in CAPITAL letters. It is hard to read and is considered as SHOUTING. If you have a point to make try emphasising particular words rather than whole sentences
9. indulge in any activity that may adversely affect the atmosphere of the discussion area, such as persist in off-topic comments and posting of statements that may incite other users
10. impersonate someone, including any friend, relative, celebrity, host, moderator or member of William Sutton Homes staff
11. post chain letters or pyramid schemes
12. post any website addresses
13. transmit advertising or solicitations (including URLs)
14. adopt an inappropriate user name, for example, something vulgar or offensive
15. post or use computer programs that contain potentially destructive features such as viruses or worms.

Do

1. have patience. Some people may be using a discussion area for the first time
2. discuss local resident involvement events
3. discuss how you accessed funding and from whom
4. take responsibility for whatever you say or post to the facility. For example, you can be held accountable for defamatory comments, threats and statements that are illegal and fraudulent
5. be cautious of giving any personal identifiable information (such as credit card, phone numbers, name and addresses) to strangers on-line, which may be used for illegal or harmful purposes.

Remember that William Sutton Homes will:

• remove any content which contravenes these rules and
• where necessary remove access and ban any user who persists in violating these rules.
